๐ŸŒŸ Guild Wars 2 Hero Points After Level 80

The concept you may be overlooking however is that those are easy. To get my tornado elite as an elementalist I had to spend 50 skill points. 10 x 2 = First two elite skills to unlock the second tier. +30 = the tornado elite itself. I think what the OP is talking about are skills like these, that cost 3, 6, or even upwards of 10 skill points a Adventures are typically meant for level 80 characters, but some can be done by lower level ones, such as holiday-specific time trials. They have leaderboards and different rewards and it can be fun to compete against your friends and guildmates by attempting to beat their times/scores. Heart of Thorns adventures also grant mastery points and a Exactly. Switching active discipline (every recepie is remembered) costs something like 10c per crafting level, so 50s at 500 (max for most). Now, I'm absolutely not sure if the available XP from crafting is enough to get to 80, and even if it is, I am certain that it's a pretty ineffective and needlessly expensive way to get to 80. Summary: A Power build for burst damage will be more effective than Condi while leveling. Don't bother with Precision until you can get Assassin gear and take advantage of the power-precision-ferocity trinity. The armor, rune, weapon, and sigil info can be used for any leveling power build, regardless of class. One, I would recommend looking in the Heart of Thorns maps rather than the Path of Fire maps initially. Those will also reward 10 points per hero challenge. Two, I would look in the LFG for "HP Trains". Often you can find large groups of people with a commander that will go map by map and collect all of the hero points in a large group. GW2. Hero Points Guides for all the expansions to help you unlock your specializations. Heart of Thorns. Path of Fire. End of Dragons. Guild Wars 2. You can earn Hero Points by completing Hero challenges and leveling up, these are spent on unlocking new skills and traits in the Training tab of the Hero Panel. Completing Hero challenges in Tyria Tomes can only be used by characters below level 80. And anet ha already said mastery progresion is for level 80s only. A different matter could be those "Writs of Experience" that you get on several of the daily chests. Those can be used by level 80s, so we can't be sure what anet will do with them. 1.8k. A few remarks.1: at level 80 you will have gained 398 heropoints just as level up rewards2: all core skills and specialisations together will cost you exactly 398 heropoints (As if they designed it that way!) (note this is excluding elite specialisations) I opened my Training tab, used 30 Hero points to unlock Greatsword Proficiency and i got Knight's Reaper's Greatsword but it wont equip. It says greatsword's use requires the elites specialization Reaper. 2. In the recent update (June 2014?) the Trait organization changed a bit and you may now have top-level traits that you can unlock with Skill points. (You can also unlock them by completing certain events, but for 30 -- I think -- skill points you can unlock one you like but for which you can't really do the event.) Posted November 7, 2017. Hey,I've been playing this game on and off for years and playing pretty casually. I finally got a character to level 80 today, and noticed that I now can get mastery levels instead of normal ones. However, without any of the expansions, I don't have access to mastery. At the moment, I can't afford the expansions, but I It requires 400 points to max out all core skills and traits. So, just getting to level 80 won't do it. UNLESS you get 2 in that first mission that every character has to go through. However, it's obvious it isn't as cut-and-dried as I thought, either. Basically, you have to pick up 2 hero points via hero challenges, or you can't quite make it 7.4k. Posted April 21, 2023 (edited) Hero points are fine. Doing them and unlocking specializations is part of playing the game. If you have 50+ characters, then it's on you to get everything unlocked for them. The game doesn't need to solve something you did to yourself. Edited April 21, 2023 by Fueki.4753. Actually, Hero challenges are the best way for a new player as I assume you dont have any testaments of heroics from WvW yet. The expansion hero point challenges each give 10HP, so you only need to do 25 of them - there are usually groups, called โ€œhero point trainsโ€, that will run around and bang out an elite spec with a group of people, just take a look for them on the LFG!
